Tesco Dance Beats
Tesco is celebrating 100 years by getting the nation dancing to raise millions of pounds to tackle the UK’s biggest health challenges. Money raised by Dance Beats will go to support Cancer Research UK, Diabetes UK and the British Heart Foundation.
From 18th to 20th July, thousands of Dance Beats events are taking place in Tesco stores across the country, leading to an epic 30-hour GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS® attempt on the longest dance marathon relay at Wembley Stadium.
Donate in your local Tesco store, cheer on the dancers, then have a go at performing the Dance Beats routine and upload to social with #TescoDanceBeats
Don’t forget to share your dance moves using #TescoDanceBeats. Tesco will be donating £10 for every upload up to the maximum value of £100,000.
Let’s beat cancer, beat heart diseases and fight diabetes
Tesco has launched a major national fundraising campaign to support the life-changing work of its three national health charity partners - Cancer Research UK, the British Heart Foundation and Diabetes UK.
• 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with some form of cancer during their lifetime.
• Every three minutes, one person dies from a heart and circulatory disease.
• In the UK someone is diagnosed with Diabetes every 2 minutes
But thanks to the commitment and hard work of the UK’s three leading health charities, who fund pioneering research and provide vital support, more people are surviving cancer and heart disease, and more people are supported to live well with diabetes than ever before.
Text DANCE to 70507 to give £5. You will be charged £5, plus one message at your standard network rate (age 16+, UK mobiles only).
