The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo
The Show theme this year is Stories which runs from 4th-26th August 2023, featuring the military at the heart of the showcase with the Royal Air Force as the lead service.
It will be a celebration of sagas, myths, and legends, transporting audiences on a journey of ideas, from the earliest campfire stories through to the world stage.
With a cast of over 800 UK and international performers, the show will allow each act to tell tales that connect us all through music, dance, poetry, spoken word and imagery.
This year the Edinburgh Castle Esplanade will host performers from Norway, The United States, Australia, Trinidad and Tobago, and Switzerland, alongside homegrown acts from across the UK and Ireland.
Stories is the next chapter in the modern era of The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, packed with the latest in cutting-edge technology, whilst combining the tradition and precision the Show is known for and loved.
The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo has donated over £12.5 million to Services and Arts organisations since 1950 from The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo (Charities) Limited - its charitable parent company.
