Journey through time

Turn back the clock and travel the world at the Longleat's The Festival of Light. This immersive and interactive lantern trail will showcase the evolution of the earth from the age of the dinosaurs right up to the present day. Dodge a dinosaur, walk through a great pyramid of Egypt, or visit the Colosseum as gladiators do battle and chariots race in Ancient Rome. You’ll also see Queen Elizabeth I, a full 450 years since she first visited Longleat House! Other attractions include Britain’s biggest singing Christmas tree, a Santa Train just waiting to depart to the North Pole, and storytelling in the Longhouse with some special feathered friends. You can also take a festive guided tour of Longleat House. There’s much more to see and do including, of course, a winter drive through safari.

The Festival of Light at Longleat runs on selected dates from 9 November 2024 until 5 January 2025
